Flying Out to Denver Signoff

Allright kids, the House Rock Built is getting ready to hop on a plane to Denver for part two of the "Service Academy Destruction Tour". If any of you are coming too, I would highly recommend swinging by the Broadmoor on Friday night to check out the Notre Dame Club Pep Rally. It should be a pretty fun event with some dignified guests (a little bird told me Ron Powlus is speaking) and some wicked cool A/V presentation. If you want to say "yo" to me, I'll be the goofball bellied up to the bar knocking back 7 and 7's.

In case you haven't heard yet, Notre Dame picked up another verbal commitment today, locking up North Carolina WR/LB Greg Little, a big, hungry two-way threat with an oxymoronic last name whose athleticism and versatility should be very advantageous. For those of you keeping track at home, Weis has locked up 9 top 100 prospects in this recruiting class so far, which equals the number we got in last year's impressive recruiting haul. With 14 more scholarships available, this could be the makings of a very, very special recruiting class. Arrelius Benn is announcing tonight on CSTV, but the smart money says he's going to Illinois. Try not to cry too much over spilled milk. Benn is a special player, but I promise you that the sun will come up tomorrow even if he decides to go elsewhere. Just a quick dose of perspective for you.

I'll be back Monday night, and might update the site then if I have enough energy, otherwise we'll get a full multimedia rundown on Tuesday. Enjoy your weekend!
