Andy French Gets a Bit of Leniancy

Well, we at last have some closure in the Andy French case, as the misguided gambler has pleaded down to a misdemeanor for an abusive drunken call he made to Ty Willingham. $2,000 bucks, some community service, a year of probation, some alcohol classes, and a heartfelt apology later, the book appears to be closed. Now that I think about it, I think any of our readers would probably be better off for doing those things as well.

This reminds me that the Andy French Cup is still alive and well, and hopefully the calls will start rolling in as the coaching letdowns begin. I didn't get any word from Cal or Colorado fans last week, probably because they were too busy crawling inside a bottle and never coming out.
